# Introduction

LoadingCalendar REST API for managing dock scheduling, loadings, and warehouse operations. Use it to check slot availability, create and update loadings, attach documents, and sync warehouse data with your WMS, TMS, or ERP.

**Base URL:** `https://www.loadingcalendar.com/api/v1`

### Authentication

All endpoints require a Bearer token in the `Authorization` header. Get your API key from the Developers section in your LoadingCalendar account.

```

Keys are issued per environment: `test_...` for testing and `prod_...` for live data. API access requires an active paid subscription.

### Rate limits

Usage is tracked per API key:

| Limit | Value |
|---|---|
| Per minute | 100 requests |
| Per hour | 3,000 requests |

Requests above these limits return `429 Too Many Requests`.
